Ethical Considerations

Horizonte Científico International Journal (HCIJ) requires all authors to strictly adhere to ethical principles in research and scholarly publishing. Studies involving human participants, animals, or sensitive data must have been previously approved by a recognized institutional ethics committee and must comply with the legal and ethical standards of the country where the research was conducted.

Authors must clearly state in their manuscript:

  • Compliance with the Declaration of Helsinki (for research involving humans).

  • That informed consent was obtained, when applicable.

  • That the study received approval from a Research Ethics Committee, including the approval code or reference number if available.

All research must respect confidentiality, scientific integrity, and data protection principles. The Editorial Board reserves the right to reject or retract articles that fail to comply with these ethical standards.
